4.4 Recovery of raw materials from End-of-life products
CSIC announces its cooperation Interest to ERA- MIN 3 by submitting its project proposal as project coordinator and or partner eligible for funding. We are interested in submitting a project proposal focused on the recovery of critical and precious metals from waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
TecnoEco Group from CENIM-CSIC has experience on material recycling and critical metal recovery; energy recovery from waste, nanotechnology for wastewater treatment and recycling of composites reinforced with carbon and glass fibers. Expertise in electrical and electronic waste (WEEE) treatment and precious metal recovery with TRL between 4 and 6.
The Research Group could offer furnaces, a pyro and hydrometallurgical pilot plant, and characterization techniques, such as XRF, XRD, DTA-TG, SEM-EDX, TEM...
