The group conducted by Prof. Petrica Vizureanu from „Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University, Department of Technologies and Equipment for Materials Processing (TUIASI-TEPM) plays an important role in research and development, contributing to scientific and research progress in the field of biomaterials domain in Romania and abroad. Experience of team in obtaining and characterization of new materials for biomedical applications is very vast with many results (https://simtit.ro/our-team/).
TUIASI-TEPM performs research in biomaterials domain: development of biocompatible alloys, product development based on biocompatible alloys, testing and analysis for biocompatible alloys, structural investigations, thermal investigations, mechanical investigations, electrochemical investigations and consulting.
The research infrastructure of „Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University, Department of Technologies and Equipment for Materials Processing (TUIASI-TEPM) consist of a high number of analytical methods and modern testing/analyzing equipment’s.
