4. Recycling and Re-use of End-of-Life Products Recycling and Re-use of End-of-Life Products
We are looking for partners that can supply various types of waste materials that can be utilized in 3D printing sustainable concrete applications for life size building elements.
We are planning to develop concrete mixtures utilizing large volumes of wastes.
We plan to enhance the performance of wastes through various methods including microbiological carbonation.
We can 3D print reals size building elements and test them under various mechanical and seismic conditions, as well as provide computational mechanical analysis to optimize their cross sectional geometries for enhanced mechanical and thermal performance.
We can also provide building energy and occupant thermal comfort simulations for possible 3D constructed buildings.
